Matt Losasso is an experienced multi award winning live action director, working across a diverse range of broadcast, commercial and digital media. His work is highly visual with a strong sense of dramatic impact and performance.

Matt was short listed for an RTS Student Television Award while still an undergraduate at Falmouth School of Arts in 1995. His expertise in the visual arts and film allowed him to gain experience as a live-action director, while working as staff at the BBC in the late 1990s. Here, his worked picked up consecutive awards, until he was approached to direct commercials for large-scale clients including Coca-Cola, Ribena, Always and Kelloggs. In 2003, he was nominated for the 'Saatchi and Saatchi' best newcomer award, kick-starting his career as a freelance film director.

His continuing freelance work has led to collaborations with well known actors and performers on major drama promotions, and has enabled him to develop his distinctive directing style and outstanding skills in digital image manipulation. Matt has extensive experience as a director on high end TV promotions and identities having directed for many major broadcasters, such as the BBC, ITV, Sky TV and Fox TV. As well as also directing cinema commercials, music promos, films and live action video game inserts, Matt continues to be commissioned to work for major UK and global commercial brands, with clients that include, Sony, O2, Sainsburys, and recently Mercedes-Benz. His work includes the global media sensation, 'Doctor Who 50th Anniversary promo', BBC One's much loved circle idents and the intro to the award winning 'Little Big Planet' video game.
