Matt Losasso is an experienced multi award winning live action director, working across a diverse range of broadcast, commercial and digital media. His work is highly visual with a strong sense of dramatic impact and performance.

Matt's first short drama film was nominated for an RTS Student Television Award while still an undergraduate at Falmouth School of Arts in 1995. His expertise in the visual arts and film allowed him to gain experience as a live-action director, while working as a broadcast designer at the BBC in the late 1990s. Here, his worked picked up consecutive awards, until he was approached to direct commercials for high profile clients including Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, Ribena, Always, Kelloggs, O2 and Sony. In 2003, he was shortlisted for the 'Saatchi and Saatchi' best newcomer award, kick-starting his career as a freelance film director.
His continuing freelance commercial work has extended his directing range to include cinema ads, music promos, film drama and live action video game inserts. Having directed for many major broadcasters, such as the BBC, ITV, Sky TV and Fox TV, Matt also has extensive experience on high end TV promotions and identities. These include collaborations with well known actors and performers on major drama promotions,and has enabled him to develop his distinctive visual style and outstanding skills in digital image manipulation. His portfolio includes the global media sensation,'Doctor Who 50th Anniversary promo', BBC One's much loved circle idents and the intro to the award winning 'Little Big Planet' video game.
