A mysterious tale centring around Mia and Alex, an oddly matched couple, who are woken in the middle of the night by a strange noise. It seems to emanate from the kitchen downstairs but the nocturnal sounds of the city all around them make it difficult to discern the exact source. The noise becomes the catalyst, to investigate the house, revealing secrets held by its occupants.
Catalyst is short drama directed by Matthew Losasso completed in 2012. Featuring Shelly Conn('Dean Indira Shetty' in Amazon's No.1 show, Gen V - 2023) and Danny Horn('Ray Davies' in hit west end musical, Sunny Afternoon).
The film was a co-production with Friction Films, RedBee media and Framestore. Shot at Banana Park studios in Clapham London. Exterior scenes on location in Clapham.
It was shown as part of the 'California International Shorts Festival", New York City International film festival" and Brighton's 'Cinecity Festival in 2012.
